Trading since 1976, Hornseys is a family-run business, located in the historic City of Ripon, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
'the gallery' hosts regular exhibitions of Fine Art from important historical maps and engravings, through to Modern and Contemporary Art.
Artworks include lithographs, chromolithographs, engravings, etchings, paintings, photography, prints, furniture and woodwork, artists' textiles and furnishings, ceramics, glassware and jewellery.
We also hold a good stock of fine, rare and out-of-print books. In the gallery subjects include art history and reference, architecture and design, Yorkshire topography, childrens' and illustrated books.
We pride ourselves in the calibre of our stock and the service we provide. Our artworks are framed locally to a very high standard using only the finest mouldings and conservation and museum-quality mount-board.
All artworks can be viewed first hand at the gallery in Ripon or from a selection here online. You can also find out about upcoming events and new works as they become available by receiving our regular e-newsletter. To subscribe simply email us at: thegallery@hornseys.com
