'All Hallows' is the first print in a new series of screen prints by Clare Curtis. Exploring the autumnal landscape, Clare depicts the season through "the endlessly fascinating world of sheds, compost bins and horticulture" of her treasured local allotment.
"Pumpkins and gourds create a link to Halloween, the turn of the season and nights drawing in. Tomatoes rot on the vine, and in the distance, an indistinct, almost ghostly figure makes a bonfire signifying tidying away and shutting down for the year. The fox, slinking past, casts a sly look at the plump hens in their pen. As the owner locks up and prepares to leave, we wonder what will happen after night falls."
