FROM THE LIBRARY OF R.J HAYHURST. First edition thus. Published by George Routledge, London, 1867. Octavo. Original green cloth, richly gilt to the spine and front board. All edges gilt. pp. xi + 558 + 6pp publisher's catalogue dated 1867. With full-page steel-engraved plates by Godwin, Corbould and Harvey. Binding nice and firm with only very slight wear to the cloth. Cloth a little rippled to the rear board caused by minor exposure to damp some time ago. Pages generally nice and clean with occasional foxing. Steel engraved plates in nice, clean condition with only occasional slight foxing. A very good, tight, clean copy. Very scarce in any form and a very good copy indeed.
