Returns Policy

Every item offered for sale by Hornseys is handled, carefully inspected and individually catalogued in-house at our Ripon gallery. We provide free UK delivery, secure and careful packaging, fully tracked shipping and a 14-day unconditional return guarantee, provided that the item is returned to us in the same condition in which it was received.

Arranging a Return

To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order:

Please provide your name, order details and a brief explanation of why you would like to return the item. Once you have contacted us, please check your email for return instructions before sending the item back.

Returning Your Item

All returned items must:

  • Be returned in the same condition in which they were received.
  • Be securely packed using the original packaging wherever possible.
  • Be sent using a fully tracked and signed-for postal service.
  • Include all certificates, accessories, packaging and accompanying material supplied with the item.

Please do not return an item until you have contacted us and received confirmation of the appropriate return address and instructions.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the item is adequately packed and insured while in transit. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items that are lost or damaged before reaching us.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will confirm receipt and process the refund promptly using the original payment method wherever possible.

Where an item has been incorrectly described, damaged before delivery, or supplied in error, Hornseys will cover the reasonable cost of return postage. We can reimburse agreed postage costs by instant bank transfer upon safe receipt of the returned item and bank details.

Where a return is made because the buyer has changed their mind, the buyer will normally be responsible for the return postage costs.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
