The Story:

“A Bear Called Paddington” tells the story of a small bear from Darkest Peru who is found at Paddington Station in London by the Brown family. Paddington, with his old hat, battered suitcase, duffel coat, and love of marmalade, quickly becomes a beloved member of the family and embarks on a series of adventures. His polite manners and innocent misadventures make him an endearing character for both children and adults. The narrative is filled with humour, warmth, and a touch of whimsy, making it a timeless favourite. The title of chapter one is memorable and reads: ‘Please look after this bear.’
