Published by Collins, London, UK, 1961. 1st edition. Original red cloth gilt. Dustwrapper. Pp. 255. The subject of a film in 1961 with the same title and starring Barry Newman and Suzy Kendall. Binding bright, tight and clean. Very minor spotting to the edges and endpapers. A near fine, clean copy in near fine dustwrapper which has minor spotting to the reverse, very minor rubbing to the surface but without any of the usual spine-fading. It is correctly priced ’15s net’. A very nice copy indeed and scarce in this condition.
