Inspired by bungalow architecture, mature gardens and carefully cultivated planting, the illustration forms a continuous panoramic landscape around the full circumference of the shade.

A varied group of low-built houses is set among winding garden paths, densely planted borders, specimen trees and contrasting areas of foliage. Individual architectural details include tiled and slate roofs, small windows, panelled doors, chimneys and garden entrances. The foreground is filled with intricate depictions of flowers, shrubs, grasses and structured planting beds, creating the impression of a well-established garden viewed across several neighbouring properties.

The green colourway combines shades of green and black. The natural palette complements the garden subject particularly well, while the darker screen-printed passages add depth and definition. Black binding at the upper and lower edges provides a crisp visual border and gives the finished shade a smart, contemporary appearance.
