The Donkey Lampshade in Terracotta by Lush Designs is a characterful decorative shade featuring an original screen-printed design on parchment. The illustration presents a continuous rural landscape populated by expressive donkeys, rolling fields, bare-branched trees and detailed wayside plants.

The donkeys are shown in a variety of poses across the full circumference of the shade, including grazing, standing alert and looking directly towards the viewer. Their simplified forms, elongated ears and gently comic expressions give the design considerable charm, while the surrounding vegetation and patterned ground introduce texture and visual depth.

Printed in a warm palette of terracotta, the design has a strong graphic quality without appearing harsh.
