The Siskin Lampshade in Gold by Lush Designs is an elegant decorative lampshade featuring an original screen-printed design on parchment. The illustration presents a continuous woodland scene populated by stylised siskins among arching branches, delicate leaves, seed heads and densely patterned undergrowth.

The birds are depicted in a variety of lively poses around the shade. Some perch upright among the foliage, while others turn, lean or hang downwards as though feeding from the surrounding plants. Their carefully patterned wings, pointed beaks and expressive outlines give each bird an individual character while maintaining the strong decorative unity of the composition.

The gold colourway gives the design a refined and understated appearance. The warm printed decoration contrasts gently with the parchment ground, allowing the birds and botanical details to remain clearly defined without appearing visually heavy.
