The Large Fox and Cubs Pendant Lampshade in Orange and Plum by Lush Designs is a substantial decorative ceiling shade featuring an original screen-print on parchment. Designed specifically for use with a pendant or ceiling light fitting, it presents a continuous woodland composition centred upon adult foxes and their cubs resting among oversized leaves, flowering plants and richly patterned undergrowth.

The foxes are arranged in intimate family groups around the full circumference of the shade. One scene shows an adult fox reclining with several cubs gathered closely against its body, while another presents the family nestled among broad decorative leaves. Their pointed ears, alert eyes and carefully worked coats give the animals considerable personality and create a warm sense of family and protection.

The surrounding botanical imagery is equally detailed. Large leaves form natural platforms beneath the animals, while tall flower heads, smaller plants and branching stems frame the scenes.
