The Large Game Bird Pendant Lampshade in Mustard and Black by Lush Designs is a substantial decorative ceiling shade featuring an original screen-print on parchment. Designed specifically for use with a pendant or ceiling light fitting, it presents a continuous woodland scene populated by stylised game birds, smaller songbirds, nests, eggs, tree trunks and scattered foliage.

The principal game birds stand among slender trees and arching branches, each distinguished by elongated forms, patterned wings and carefully worked plumage. Smaller birds perch between the branches, adding contrast in scale and introducing movement throughout the design.

Several nests appear within the lower sections of the illustration, some containing delicately rendered eggs. Decorative flower-like forms, falling leaves and fine linear textures enrich the woodland setting while allowing the birds to remain the principal focus.

The mustard and black colourway gives the pendant shade a warm, distinctive and strongly graphic appearance.
