Led by Martin Lindsay, the party of three men made a record Arctic journey of 1200 miles, reaching the coast after 103 days’ sledging with less than three days’ food in hand. This unexpurgated account draws from the diaries of all three men resulting in a candid description of the tribulations endured throughout the expedition. Illustrated throughout with photographs, folding panoramas and five maps. Binding nice and tight. pages nice and clean. A very good plus, slightly faded, tight, clean copy in very good, slightly creased, nicked and rubbed dustwrapper which has a small amount of loss to the head of the spine. Very scarce indeed in dustwrapper.
