Description:

“Red Rackham’s Treasure” is a captivating tale in the Tintin series, following the young reporter Tintin, his loyal dog Snowy, and his eccentric friend Captain Haddock. The story begins with the discovery of a treasure map in the wreck of the ship Unicorn, leading them on an adventurous quest to find the hidden riches of the notorious pirate Red Rackham. Along the way, they are joined by the brilliant but absent-minded Professor Calculus, whose inventions add both humour and excitement to their journey. This first UK edition, published by Methuen in 1959, encapsulates Hergé’s masterful storytelling and illustration. The book is in very good indeed condition, with bright, clean pages. It features slight rubbing to the spine and corners and a very minor ripple to the lower half of the rear board. The edges show only very minor rubbing, and the binding remains tight. Occasional very minor age spots appear on the text but this is a very nice copy.
