Size: King Rabbit height: 9.5cm. The sculptors and artists of SAC chose some of Beatrix Potter’s most famous characters for this chess set. The King is Peter Rabbit, the Queen, Jemima Puddle-duck, Bishops are modelled on Foxy-Whiskered Gentleman, Knights on Squirrel Nutkin, Rooks on Tom Kitten and Pawns on Bunny Rabbits. Complete with folding board depicting Mr McGregor’s Garden and containing the original information sheet which is dated 2004. Barcode: 664574182168. Very slight rubbing to the box else in very fine condition indeed. With an original price of £295 in 2004, this set is very scarce in this condition.
