The Large Hedgehog Pendant Lampshade in Green by Lush Designs is a richly illustrated ceiling shade featuring an original screen-print on parchment. Designed specifically for use with a pendant or ceiling light fitting, the composition presents a continuous meadow scene populated by characterful hedgehogs, wild flowers, grasses, leaves and small trees.

The hedgehogs appear in a variety of poses around the full circumference of the shade, some moving through the undergrowth and others resting among the planting. Their finely worked spines, pointed faces and alert expressions give each animal an individual character, while the changing scale and placement of the figures create a strong sense of movement across the design.

The surrounding vegetation is equally detailed. Stylised wild flowers, seed heads, grasses, broad leaves and branching plants are arranged across softly undulating ground, creating the impression of a natural meadow or woodland edge. Small trees and taller plants introduce vertical structure, while the scattered botanical motifs ensure that the design remains visually engaging from every viewpoint.

The green colourway is particularly well suited to the natural subject. Layered green tones establish the landscape, while darker linework defines the hedgehogs, flowers and foliage with clarity. Black binding around the upper and lower edges provides a crisp, coordinated and professionally finished border.

Rather than relying upon a single repeated image, the original screen-printed composition extends around the entire circumference.
