His mohair coat is delicately trimmed to highlight his expressive features—particularly around his nose. His perky ears, one cocked ever so slightly to the side, lend him a lively, inquisitive appearance. A hand-stitched nose and mouth, and gleaming black eyes, give Benjamin an endearing, lifelike quality.

Detailing

Standing at 25 cm in height, Benjamin Bunny is perfectly proportioned and designed to stand upright, in the classic anthropomorphic style of Potter’s illustrations. His form is sturdy yet soft, with a delightful sense of movement in the way his limbs are posed, as though he might scamper off at any moment. He is dressed in his signature brown jacket, beautifully tailored from felt. Draped over his head and shoulders is his oversized brown tam-o’-shanter hat, rendered in dark green felt with sculpted detail and a soft slouch, capturing the slightly comic charm of the original illustrations. This character-defining hat, often slipping down over his ears, gives Benjamin his unmistakable silhouette and playful appeal. We have used one of our own stock images as he has not been taken out of his bag.
