Original eight page sales brochure for the DB4. Size: 30.5cm x 22.8cm. Illustrated throughout in colour. Includes technical data. Dated October 1958. Also included is the printed retail price list dated October 1959 to coincide with the prestigious British International Motor Show at London’s Earl’s Court which ran from the 21st to the 31st October where Aston Martin would also launch the DB4GT. A little-known fact regarding the DB4 was that it was used as a ‘test mule’ by James Bond special effects designers at Pinewood Studios for the film of Ian Fleming’s ‘Goldfinger’ in 1962. It was even measured up for the various gadgets, including the machine guns and ejector seats, that would feature on the silver DB5 driven by Sean Connery in the film. In fine, bright, clean condition. Very scarce and a superior copy.
