Our list for this week includes the latest polyresin model from Moulinsart. This limited-edition Shark Submarine measures 77cm long and is nearly 30cm high. Standing on a metal plinth, this is one of the most iconic objects to feature in Herge’s masterpieces. We also have a set of the hand-painted objects from ‘The Musee Imaginaire’ exhibition. This treasure box of miniatures includes thirteen items and includes the Blue Lotus Vase, the Sword of the Chevalier de Haddoque and the Chorten Tower.
We’ve also uploaded a complete set of Michael Bond’s books about the adventures of Paddington Bear. Even early sets of reprints are difficult to find and this is in lovely condition and includes two signed items from the author himself including an excellent letter.
There’s more from the Curwen Studio, with two progressive proofs for lithographs by Angie Lewin and a wonderful original drawing for a lithograph by her. Examples of her work in monotone are unusual and clearly demonstrate the remarkable purity of line that she produces.
Other additions include both new and old work by Eliza Southwood. Renowned throughout the world, her cycling art has been available at our gallery for many years now and she is a delight to work with. We have new signed artist’s proofs of her ‘Haute-Route Alps: Megeve-Nice 2021’ screenprint which are a very reasonable £95 and a couple of sold-out rarities from years gone by such as her ‘Paris-Roubaix’ screenprint.
