Produced by Tintinimaginatio in 2023 as part of the prestigious Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin collection, this officially licensed collector’s piece faithfully recreates the flamboyant military leader whose political fortunes rise and fall repeatedly throughout the Tintin stories.

General Alcazar first appeared in The Broken Ear (L’Oreille Cassée), where he emerged as one of the principal figures in the turbulent South American republic of San Theodoros. A charismatic soldier, revolutionary and sometime dictator, Alcazar became one of Hergé’s most enduring supporting characters, later returning in The Seven Crystal Balls, Tintin and the Picaros and other adventures.

This beautifully sculpted figure depicts Alcazar in full military dress uniform, complete with decorations, sash, medals and peaked cap. The sculpture perfectly captures the character’s proud bearing, commanding presence and larger-than-life personality, faithfully reflecting Hergé’s original artwork and celebrated ligne claire style.

Expertly cast in resin with a metal base and finished with hand-applied polychrome decoration, the figure demonstrates the museum-quality production standards for which the Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin series has become renowned.
