A scarce and highly attractive Vivienne Westwood Winter Tartan handbag, reference 5565VTSY, dating from approximately 2012 and purchased directly from the Vivienne Westwood store in Leeds in July of that year.

Finished in one of the designer’s most recognisable tartan patterns, the bag combines the rebellious heritage of Vivienne Westwood’s fashion house with a practical and elegant everyday design. The striking tartan fabric features shades of pink, red, olive green, black and turquoise, complemented by glossy black handles and the iconic gold-coloured Orb emblem to the front.

Tartan occupied a central place within Vivienne Westwood’s work throughout her career.
