The Trees Lampshade in Grey by Lush Designs is a refined decorative shade designed for use with an appropriately proportioned lamp base. Featuring an original screen-print on parchment, the design presents a continuous woodland composition of stylised trees, patterned trunks, branching forms and decorative ground markings.

The trees vary considerably in scale, shape and structure. Some have broad, divided trunks with dense networks of fine branches, while others are narrow and upright with compact crowns. Several trunks are ornamented with bands of dots, arches and geometric motifs, introducing a subtle folk-art influence and giving each tree an individual character.

The repeated woodland forms are arranged in staggered rows across the full circumference of the shade. This creates an impression of depth while preserving the strong graphic clarity of the design. Small leaf-shaped motifs interrupt the tree pattern at intervals, adding variation without detracting from the overall rhythm of the composition.

The grey colourway gives the lampshade a calm, understated and highly versatile appearance.
